Garfield
The Boys & Girls Club of Garfield is a leading youth development organization committed to helping young people—especially those who need us most—reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We offer comprehensive afterschool and summer programs for youth ages 5–14, featuring academic support, social-emotional learning, creative arts, STEM, and enrichment activities like robotics, dance, and swimming.
Our main location at 490 Midland Ave serves elementary students from all Garfield public and BASCS charter schools, with complimentary bussing and snacks included. We also operate on-site programs at Schools #6, #7, and #9, and provide a completely free 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) program at Garfield Middle School. All programs are led by trained Youth Development Professionals and Wellness Staff, ensuring safe, nurturing, and engaging experiences tailored to every child’s needs.
Our Summer Camp offers full-day programming, field trips, and access to a supervised pool at the Midland Ave site. We proudly partner with families using state subsidy programs like OFC and 4Cs, and manage all registrations through the MyClubHub Parent Portal.

| Eligibility | Our programs are open to youth ages 5–14 who are excited to learn, grow, and have fun after school or during the summer! For our 21st Century Community Learning Center (21st CCLC) program at Garfield Middle School, participants must be currently enrolled or scheduled to attend GMS. At this time, we're only able to accept students from within the Garfield public school district for this site. To get started, families must register through our MyClubHub Parent Portal--it's the easiest way to manage enrollment and stay connected! As part of registration, we'll ask for a few important documents: Last year's report card Birth certificate Immunization records Proof of income (like a lunch status form or benefit letter) IEP/504 Plan documents, if your child has one If you're planning to use a childcare subsidy such as Office for Children (OFC) or 4Cs, please make sure your contract is uploaded to the portal before your child's first day. We're here to help every step of the way--just reach out with any questions! |
