Elevation Intervention Services, LLC is a new counseling agency recently approved by NJ  Children’s Systems of Care to offer counseling services with parental support to youth aged 10-21 years old in the Union county area. Our Intensive In-Community (IIC) counselors have more than 30 years of combined experience working with youth through community programs, public school districts, alternative education programs for middle  to high school aged youth, and actual IIC experience with numerous agencies.  

We currently have multiple staff members who would be willing to go into the home during this time. The availability of our staff generally starts after 3:30 pm during the week  during the school year, very flexible on the weekends with increased availability during the summer months. Our staff specializes in working with youth who have been diagnosed with oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, emotionally disturbed and  conduct disorder. To be specific, some of the common issues that we’ve assisted youth  include: poor school attendance, low self-esteem, bullying, academic decline, handling trauma,  and angry outbursts. The strategies we utilize to address certain behaviors are coping skills,  mindfulness, social learning theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and social emotional learning programs.
