Family & Children’s Service provides compassionate care, intervention, and education to support people during challenging times in their lives.
Founded in 1909, Family & Children's Service (FCS) is Monmouth County's oldest private nonprofit social service agency. FCS offers programs and services that address neglect and abuse of the elderly; home health care and respite care needs; financial instability due to physical, developmental or mental disability; childhood literacy; Medicare counseling and more.

FCS partners with many organizations and government agencies, yet in many cases, we are the sole county-designated provider of unduplicated services and the last hope for individuals, families, and seniors in crisis.
