HamaniCare provides outpatient services for adults and families. Offering mental and behavioral health services through the Children System of Care to community children and adolescents.
Hamanicare is a Mental Health and Wellness agency committed to prioritizing marginalized and oppressed members of our society, with a focus on addressing the impact of race and culturally oppressive practices from a mental health perspective.
Although we offer our services to anyone needing assistance we have a concentrated focus on Black and Brown members of our community. Traditional therapeutic practices often exclude the importance of race and culture-based trauma as a cause of many mental health and behavioral issues that are prevalent with individuals of color. Hamanicare provides culturally responsive care that addresses depression, anger, anxiety and other mental health and behavioral issues frequently induced by race and culture-related challenges.
