AAA Counseling and Consulting Services recognizes that each family’s history, customs, and beliefs will affect the perception of the problem and the possible solution.
While paying attention to the immediate needs of the family we serve, we also seek to delve into and find strengths in the unique characteristics and cultural elements that form the foundation for the family’s daily functioning. Our interventions are strength-based, culturally competent and evidence-based clinical practices that seek to address the emotional and behavioral challenges of youth referred for services.
All interventions are short term, solution-focused and youth-centered. Sessions are conducted in the youth’s home and are scheduled to accommodate the youth’s and family’s lifestyle. Our agency approaches intensive, in community services by employing interagency cooperation and communication, to best serve the youth and family’s needs. Outpatient mental health services are provided to Beacon Health/Value Options, Cigna, and United Healthcare members.
Additional languages spoken include Spanish and Haitian Creole.
