Character & Community Behavioral Health & Wellness supports children, teens, young adults, and families in building the skills needed to feel more confident, connected, and successful at home, at school, and in the community.

We provide individualized and small-group supports focused on areas such as social skills, communication, emotional regulation, behavior, independence, confidence, relationships, and developmental growth. Our approach is strengths-based, relationship-centered, and designed around each participant’s individual needs and goals.

Participants may receive support individually, in small groups, with family involvement, or through community-based experiences depending on their needs and selected program. We also collaborate with families, schools, community organizations, and other professionals when appropriate to help skills carry over into everyday life.

Located in Hawthorne, New Jersey, Character & Community serves families throughout the surrounding communities. Services are available by appointment, and families and referral professionals are encouraged to contact us to discuss the participant’s needs, available programs, and the best place to begin.
