Cherry Hill Food Pantry

Our mission is dedicated to supplying groceries and related social services to needy families and individuals in Cherry Hill and the surrounding communities.

The Cherry Hill Food and Outreach Council (from which the Cherry Hill Food Pantry was formed) began in May 2006. At a series of afternoon meetings interested congregants from area churches came together to discuss how they as a team, rather than as individual congregations, could best address one or more social issues facing the Cherry Hill community.

The issue of hunger, or food insecurity, was a natural focus. Many individuals, families, and seniors struggle to meet their bills. When faced with an unexpected expense, or worse, the loss of income, these individuals often turn to churches in the area for assistance with food, bills, and access to social services.
