The Community Threads Store (CTS) is CLCL Foundation’s free, dignity?based resource hub providing individuals and families with access to high?quality clothing, hygiene items, cleaning supplies, linens, children’s essentials, and accessories in a welcoming, choice?driven environment.

Designed as Phase 2 of CLCL’s Community Cares Pilot Program, the store builds upon the trust formed through Free Family Fun Nights (FFFNs) and the referral network of the Community Care Connection (CCC) Warm Line. Through this model, CTS offers free access, discreet assistance, private fitting rooms, and on?site support that connects visitors directly to navigation services, warm handoffs, and additional community?based resources.

The CTS is open Monday through Thursday from 3 to 7 pm, Friday from 3 to 9 pm, and Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm. Donations are always welcome! For large donations, please drop-off in the back of the building and use the doorbell for delivery.

Every item provided, whether new or gently used, is available for families and individuals in-need can meet their basic needs without stigma or barriers. The store supplies clothing for all ages, hygiene products, household basics, children’s items, linens, accessories, and even special?occasion wear such as interview attire, graduation outfits, and seasonal essentials. 

Rooted in CLCL’s mission of community?driven support, the Community Threads Store strengthens well?being by removing financial pressure, increasing access to vital resources, and fostering connection between neighbors. Each visit delivers not just essential items, but a dignified experience that reinforces safety, choice, and belonging for every person who walks through its doors.
