Gems to Jewels Inc. is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating, empowering, and elevating youth and young adults through mentoring, workforce development, education, life-skills development, and community-based support.

Our organization has a specialized focus on justice-impacted and system-involved youth, including youth involved with juvenile justice, probation, detention, or transitioning back into the community. Beginning September 25, 2026, Gems to Jewels will provide mentoring programming at the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center.

We also serve youth who may not be justice-involved but are experiencing barriers to education, employment, stability, or successful transition into adulthood.

• Literacy programs and book clubs
• Driver’s permit test study groups

• Connections to employment, training, credentialing, and educational pathways

Our approach emphasizes consistent relationships with trusted adults, accountability, positive decision-making, self-confidence, workforce preparation, and connection to community resources.

Gems to Jewels welcomes referrals and partnerships with Middlesex County youth-serving organizations, schools, probation and juvenile justice partners, care management organizations, community agencies, and families. Our goal is to provide individualized support that helps young people overcome barriers, strengthen protective factors, and develop sustainable pathways toward education, employment, stability, and successful adulthood.
