KIND ABA (Knowledge in Nurturing Development) is a child-centered and supportive local Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) provider dedicated to helping children with autism and developmental differences build meaningful skills, increase independence, and thrive in their everyday environments. Our mission is to provide high-quality ABA services that are rooted in contemporary, evidence-based practices while treating every child and family with dignity, respect, and understanding.
Our clinical approach incorporates progressive ABA practices, including Dr. Greg Hanley’s Today’s ABA and principles from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), along with other evidence-based approaches as we continue to learn, grow, and advance our clinical knowledge. We believe effective ABA should look beyond simply changing behavior—it should focus on meaningful outcomes that improve a child’s quality of life, strengthen communication and relationships, promote independence, and support the goals that matter most to each individual and their family.
At KIND ABA, services are individualized to each child’s unique strengths, needs, interests, and developmental goals. We collaborate closely with parents, caregivers, educators, and other members of a child’s support team to promote consistency and help skills generalize across the environments where children live, learn, and play. We believe families should feel informed and supported throughout the process, and we strive to transparent and make accessing and navigating ABA services as comfortable and transparent as possible.
We proudly serve families in Bergen, Essex, and Hudson County and currently in-network with these insurance providers: Aetna, Cigna, Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Medicaid We plan to continue expanding our insurance network to make quality ABA services accessible to more families. We also offer opportunities for families and children to connect through community-based programming and social experiences designed to encourage friendship, communication, confidence, and meaningful participation.
At KIND ABA, we believe progress is made one step at a time. Every new skill, connection, attempt, and moment of independence is a victory worth celebrating. Our goal is to walk alongside families—not simply as service providers, but as partners in nurturing development, building confidence, and creating brighter futures.
