Maryville Integrated Care provides outpatient mental health and substance use treatment for adolescents ages 11–17, helping young people and their families address concerns early, before they become more disruptive to school, relationships, health and daily life. Adolescent services are designed around the developmental needs of young people and can address a primary mental health disorder, substance use disorder, or co-occurring concerns.
Maryville has three convenient outpatient locations in Turnersville, Vineland and Voorhees, in addition to telehealth options that make services accessible to individuals and families throughout New Jersey. All three locations are Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC). Through the CCBHC model, Maryville provides comprehensive, community-based care that addresses mental health and substance use needs while also connecting individuals with physical healthcare and recovery supports.
We provide comprehensive mental health treatment, whether or not substance use is a concern.
From adolescent services, Maryville extends into a comprehensive continuum of integrated behavioral healthcare, allowing individuals to receive the appropriate level of support as their needs change. That continuum includes medically monitored withdrawal management, short- and long-term residential treatment, intensive outpatient and outpatient treatment, primary mental health services, and Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT). MAT is available across levels of care, supporting continuity as individuals move from inpatient treatment into outpatient care and back into their communities.
What increasingly distinguishes Maryville is the integrated care model behind that continuum. Maryville is no longer simply an addiction treatment provider. Its approach brings together substance use treatment, mental health care, physical health services and recovery supports, recognizing that these needs frequently overlap and are most effectively addressed together. Maryville's outpatient/CCBHC services further expand that approach through mental health treatment, medical screening and assessment, health education, case management, connections to outside medical providers and other services designed to address the whole person.
Recovery support is woven throughout the continuum rather than treated as something that begins when formal treatment ends. Depending on an individual's needs, Maryville can incorporate peer recovery support, family involvement, continuing-care planning, alumni services and specialized programming, including services for Spanish-speaking and LGBTQIA+ communities and individuals with stimulant use disorders or co-occurring gambling disorders.
Founded in New Jersey in 1949, Maryville has evolved over more than 75 years from an organization primarily known for addiction treatment into an integrated behavioral healthcare provider serving individuals and families across multiple stages of life and recovery. Today, inpatient services are provided in Williamstown and Pemberton, with outpatient services in Turnersville, Vineland and Voorhees, along with telehealth options. Maryville is a nonprofit organization, licensed by the State of New Jersey and accredited by CARF International.
Maryville accepts Medicaid and many private insurance plans and is in-network with most major insurance carriers, helping remove one of the most significant barriers to accessing behavioral healthcare.
