Brightside Family Services (Michael Loupis Counseling LLC) offers parent coaching services with personalized strategies and tools to help caregivers navigate family dynamics, build meaningful relationships with their children, and develop effective communication skills for the whole family.

Parent coaching is rendered by licensed clinicians who are also certified in the Nurtured Heart Approach® and commonly referred to as Nurturing Parenting providers (NPP). NPPs will work in close coordination with any assigned youth clinicians to ensure consistent communication regarding the families' needs and progress.

Parent coaches assist parents in developing practical skills to handle the issues they're encountering with their child/children. Parent coaches should first understand the parents' values; after those are articulated and defined, the parent coach can help them form practical goals and develop a framework for a parenting philosophy.

Unlike youth services, the parent coach is not tasked with clinically diagnosing the parent(s). The overarching objective is to empower caregivers to serve as their child’s first educator.  Our parent coaches rely on their experience and NPP training to craft a unique approach for the caregivers they are assisting.
