StepSafe is a matchbox-sized cellular GPS tracker built for children with autism, ADHD or Down syndrome who are prone to wandering (elopement). Parents see their child's location in the StepSafe app, and the child can send a silent SOS alert. The microphone is permanently disabled. Locking waistband and wristband wearables are in development.
StepSafe ships to families in the US and Canada, with first devices shipping in February 2027. Families can also download our free wandering Safety Kit from the Resources page at stepsafetech.com/resources.
