Tigger Stavola Foundation

The Tigger Stavola Foundation's (TSF) mission is to fight addiction, spread awareness and save lives by educating youth on drug prevention in an effort to prevent first use. TSF's approach is to offer motivational spreakers from its vetted portfolio to NJ schools for free. These professional speakers are subject matter experts on topics such as: vaping, marijuana, drug, alcohol and tobacco use; bullying prevention; self esteem building and social media dangers/cyber safety. TSF's programming supports and aligns with the education mandated by the new Illicit Opioid Supply Substances Poisoning Awareness Act to be rolled out during the 2026-2027 school year.

Reinforcement materials are provided to students and parents via a resource card to keep the prevention conversation going at home. The resource card also provides opportunities for students to engage in community events like its annual Freeze Addiction Polar Plunge and to apply for scholarships.

TSF is a memorial foundation created by Lisa, Rick and Alex Stavola to honor their son and brother Richard Stavola, Jr. ("Tigger"), who died at the age of 25 from an accidental overdose.
