True Care Mental Health Clinic provides counseling, psychiatry, and medication management for children, teens, adults, couples, and families — in person and by secure video, in English and Spanish.

We accept most major insurance and Medicaid.

We have locations in Newark, Paterson, Elizabeth, Toms River, and we are in the process of opening a 5th office in Jersey City.

We only provide medication monitoring coupled with therapy for continuity of care, and if there is a need for medication clients can meet with an APN after the 3rd session with their therapist. Clients can meet with their therapist only and receive NO medication if not needed, or they can meet with an outside medication prescriber if they prefer- but at True Care we do not provide medication monitoring in isolation, so if a client is in need of medication through one of our APNs they are required to be meeting with a therapist.
