Children's Aid and Family Services (CAFS)

Children's Aid and Family Services strengthens families and empowers individuals -- children and adults alike -- to reach their fullest potential. Motivated by compassion and in partnership with the community, we make positive lasting differences in the lives of those we serve. We provide programs that strengthen children and families, services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and substance misuse prevention and education and recovery supports.

We are now an ABA provider with Aetna, United (Medicaid & commercial), and Wellcare. Currently working on Horizon and AmeriGroup.

    BSFT® is a short- term, evidence based, problem-focused therapy that aims to improve parent-child interactions, develop conflict resolution skills, build upon parent skills, and increase communication between family members.

    The Disability Support Services department of Children's Aid and Family Services provides several "programs without walls". These are programs that are generally conducted at a child's home or in the community, providing one on one services with both the child and their family.

    Every Parent Influences Children (EPIC) Parenting Class (CAFS)

    Participation in the EPIC program empowers parents with greater confidence, a more positive view of their parenting role, stronger interactions, and improved relationships with their children—along with practical skills that grow with their family. As a result, children are better prepared for school and equipped for long?term personal success.
